Chateau La Gorce 2018 75cl

£19.50

Tasting Note

"Ripe, heady bramble fruit with lots of slatey Medoc typicity on the palate. Tannins are ripe, intense and well integrated. A little meatiness adds complexity to the rich fruit palate and finish. 92pts, Decanter Magazine, March 2023"

Producer

Château La Gorce is run by the enthusiastic and devoted Emmanuel Martin who purchased the property in 2018. Martin boasts a real knowledge of the trade with 15 years experience as a merchant/ owner in the Entre-Deux Mers and coming from a family of wine-growers. After taking over the estate, they immediately began the process of converting the entire 48 hectares into organic farming, which has now been completed on all the cuvees since 2022. Only the best grapes selected from oldest vines make it into the Cru which is then aged for 12-18 months in oak.
