The Ducourt family acquired and settles in Chateau de Combes in 1858, in the heart of Entre-Deux-Mers. The property has been passed down through generations whilst also growing, including the additions of Chateau de Beauregard-Ducourt in 1973 and Chateau Vernous in 1976 (among others previously) to bring the family’s properties to a total of 150 hectares. Following the addition of numerous other Chateaus since, the family now owns over 200 hectares, from which the aim was set to distribute wines under a common banner – ‘Les Celliers de Bordeaux Benauge’.
