Tasting Note

"You loved the 2010 vintage, and this is better, just a bit younger. Mind you, I was drinking the 2010 since it was 3 years old, and I have every intention of enjoying this wine at 3 years old as well. This has a fleshy core of plum and blackberry fruit, framed by chocolate ganache and lightly singed vanilla bean notes, with a fresh, focused finish"

Decanter magazine said "Lovely wine from the Ducourt family. Firm tannins up front, fine black fruits, clear ambition, there is plenty to enjoy in this wine, softened and deepened with smoky oak. Drink now - 2030"

Producer

It is the Ducourt Family - need I say more?! Starting in 1858, the family settled just south east of Bordeaux and their estates have grown to 14 in number, predominantly making outstanding, young drinking reds.
