Tasting Note

A fabulous Sauvignon from this Chardonnay producing legend, and 2018 is their first vintage. Salty, minerally, very Sancerre like in its flavour, very restrained, citrus focused and aromatic.

Producer

When the first generation of the Brajkovich family arrived from Croatia to New Zealand in the late 1930s, they worked at local vineyards until 1944 when they had saved enough money to buy a property in Kumeu with a small vineyard. They moved to French varieties in the late 1970s, pioneering for the time, and their reputation simply soared after that.
