Tasting Note

Critically acclaimed, this Syrah has big, bold cherry aromas, with nuances of blackberry and then some thyme emerging. There is a big, powerful palate as well, punchy tannins, earth, pepper and more deep, dark stewing black fruit flavours.

The Bodegas Canopy team is made up of 3 people: Alfonso Chacón, Belarmino Fernández and Lorena Díaz Alfonso and Belarmino, the founding partners, have been working on this venture since 2003. Lorena joined the team in 2018—initially as an intern, but now as a permanent member.
