Tasting Note

"Imagine that berry pie that you mother made when you were little. THIS IS THAT - with a huge dollop of cream on the top of it."

Producer

The Bastida family has owned vineyards in various denominations since 1870. They aim to bring together different Denominations of Origin in Spain in the search of the typicity of each one in unique, exclusive terroirs. These are all small productions but offer the consumer a wide range of wines from the Iberian Peninsula.

They work with nimerous vineyards of several farmers, where they carry out controls and work to allow a range of grapes with different varieties, altitudes, ages and soils. The majority of soiles are stony limestone, sandy loam and clay. The Bodegas are continuously growing and adapting to new quality certifications and the demands of consumers but their philosophy and identity remain the same: to maintain tradition, from the care and control of the vineyard in a sustainable way, taking meticulous care of all processes in a natural way.
