Trefethen Family Vineyards

Eugene and Catherine Trefethen moved to the Napa Valley in 1968 and purchased six small farms and a winery when there were less than 20 operational wineries in the Napa Valley. This was thought to be foolhardy, but, with their son John, they built this family company from nothing to winning 'Best Chardonnay in the World' in just eleven years.

With John still full time at the winery, joined by his wife Janet and their children Loren and Hailey they produce wines with finesse and made to be enjoyed with food.
