Au Pied du Mont Chauve are made at Chateau de Chassagne-Montrachet in the heart of the village in the Cote de Beaune, but can't have the name on the label as it legally belongs to the neighbouring estate Domaine Bader-Mimeur.

The Picard family bought the property in 1997 and the vineyards have been converting to biodynamic farming since 2010.
