Chateau Siaurac
LALANDE DE POMEROL, BORDEAUX, FRANCE
Chateau Siaurac is unique. Surrounded by a beautiful parkland, with vineyards just beyond this, the estate was said to be 'only seperated by the first growths of Pomerol by a small trickle of water called the Barbane' by Férét's Bordeaux et ser Vins of 1893.
The estate's winemaking history goes back to the eighteenth century, and in 1832 Pierre Brisson bought the estate. It stayed with his descendants until 2017 when Artemis Domaines, led by Frederic Engerer, bought the estate and now this brilliant estate is in the same stable as Chateau La Prieure in Saint-Emilion, Chateau Vray Croix de Gay in Pomerol and Chateau Latour in Pauillac.
