Out of stock
Tasting Note: "A robust and full bodied red Bordeaux, firm tannins, with a lovely dark fruit, earthy notes and a long, oak and berry driven finish."
Producer: Owned by the Richard family since 1989, Chateau Le Bourdieu Vertheuil has a team of 12 people running the estate. The 60 hectares of vineyards are in the commune of Vertheuil which borders Saint-Estephe, with fine gravel soils on a limestone base that allows good drainage, resulting in the vines having deep roots. This struggle to survive always results in better wine!
The wines are Merlot dominant, with Cabernet Sauvignon in the Paul McCartney role, and then Petit Verdot going all Ringo and banging the drums at the back.
Country: France | Region: Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux | Alcohol: 14% | Grapes: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot
THE WINE WILL BE DELIVERED TO US MID/LATE FEBRUARY, FOR RELEASE IMMEDIATELY
