Goutorbe Bouillot 80/13 75cl

£84.95

Tasting Note

A fabulous wine produced from a perpetual cuvee started in 1980, running through to 2013 (hence the name!). 70% Meunier with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in equal proportions to prop up the blend. It is bottled in tiny numbers each year. The nose exudes fragrant notes of plum and peach with plenty of depth, whilst the palate is open and enveloping, creating a wonderful texture. The finish pulls it in nicely creating a controlled end-note.

Producer

With winemaking history going back to the early 18th century, the Goutorbe and Bouillot families came together just before the Second World War when Pierrette Bouillot and Jules Goutorbe were married. Now managed by Dominique and Bastien, they have 8 hectares of vines in the village of Damery.
