The Casks of Lindores 2, Bourbon Casks 70cl

Tasting Note: Lindores limited edition bourbon is back and better than ever! With an extra year of maturation in Kentucky Bourbon barrels. Putting single malts into Bourbon barrels gives a young whisky no place to hide, showing any fault that is there, so the balls that this distillery has to put this young whisky into such a cask have to be substantial and made of steel. And they haven't been found wanting. Showing purity, delicious orchard fruit notes and then a lovely vanilla and peppercorn note on the finish, this is a lovely whisky to drink neat or add to your favourite cocktail.

Producer: From the home of whisky, Lindores Abbey! It was at Lindores Abbey that the first documented evidence of whisky was produced, and this is the first general release malt from the new distillery there.
