MOSEL, GERMANY
Born in the Mosel, Andreas Bender knew from a young age he wanted to make wine. He was taken to work by his father, a vine propagator, and this significant influence on him resulted in him making his first wine, aged thirteen, in his family home.
As is now the norm, he worked for different wineries in Germany, France, Italy and America and started his own company in 2008, but does something different. Instead of making single vineyard wines from his 10 hectares in the mosel, bottling them seperately, he blends them together and makes different styles.
