BenRiach
SPEYSIDE, SCOTLAND
Dating back to 1898, the BenRiach distillery has an intermittent history of whisky production. Due to financial hardship, the distillery shut in 1900 and remained inoperative for the next 65 years. However, it wasn't until 2004, when the distillery was purchased by three private entrepreneurs, that they had the freedom to experiment and make some truly outstanding whisky. BenRiach cemented their comeback by winning the 'Whisky Distiller of the Year' award at the Icons of Whisky Awards in 2009.
BenRiach offers a wide selection of peated and unpeated whiskies, as well as whiskies with a variety of different finishes, such as port, sherry, or even moscatel cask finishes.
