CHIANTI, TUSCANY, ITALY
Still run by decendants of founder Luigi Bichi Borghesi, who died around a century ago, the family link to the land dates back to around 1650 when Cardinal Antonio Bichi Borghesi bought farms around the village of Scorgiano, creating the estate.
This purchasing, many years ago, means that the estate is over 400 hectares in the Chianti Colli Senesi region. All wines are made from estate grown fruit and are great examples of Chianti from this region.
