PATAGONIA, ARGENTINA

Made from vines grown near the town of Mainque in the Upper Rio Negro Valley, this small company has a vineyard of old, pre-phylloxera Malbec vines and a (nearly) ninety year old winery!  This old property however is representing modern winemaking in Argentina - elegant, concentrated and delicious wines!  The name (006) refers to the first plot of land purchased, not one of James Bond's colleagues.
