Chateau de Cardaillan

GRAVES, BORDEAUX

Built at the beginning of the seventeenth century, the estate had run into disrepair by the 1950’s but the energy and determination of Pierre de Bournazel completely rejuvenated production. He studied estate management and oenology, rebuilt the fermentation cellars and completely restored the Chateau. His death in 1985 saw his wife Nancy and their three sons take over management of the estate, continuing his legacy.
