Chateau de Montifaud

Château de Montifaud is very much a family enterprise. I visited there in 2024 and was hosted by Laurent, his wife Elodie and their two young daughters who will become the eighth generation of cognac makers. 

This is lovely, unadulterated pure, fine, perfumed cognac. A family domaine and distillery. 125 hectares of vineyard in the heart of the Archiac where the Grande and Petite Champagne meet, much sought after by the larger Houses.
