Chateau Montlau is now owned by Armand Schuster Ballwil, and its 25 hectares of vineyards are picked by hand.  Planted with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, yields are kept low and this wine is remarkable value.

Wines like this from Bordeaux are where the real value is in the region, small producers that nobody has heard about, making wines that are very drinkable and of great quality.
