Domaine des Bernardins

VENISE, RHONE

A family estate for five generations, they started making wine at the beginning of the 20th Century. Originally owned by Bernardin monks, it was transformed into a winemaking estate. Louis Castaud saw how the regions traditional production had almost disappeared and achieved appellation status for Muscat de Beaumes de V~enise in 1945. Now his daughter Renée is involved in the estate with her daughter Elisabeth, her husband Andrew and their son Romain.
