Domaine du Carrou

SANCERRE, LOIRE VALLEY, FRANCE

The Roger family can trace their history back to the 17th Century and Dominique, the latest generation of vignerons, is in charge of this old Domaine. 

With ten hectares of vines in Sancerre, they are unusual because all are harvested by hand, and should the area ever get organised and have a Grand Cru system, some of the vineyards owned by the Roger family would be at the top of this list.
