Domaine le Couroulu

VACQUEYRAS, RHONE VALLEY, FRANCE

Named after the Provencal word for the Curlew bird, Domaine le Couroulu currently produces some of the finest Vacqueyras. With 19 hectares of vineyards on south-facing slopes over the Ouvèze River, le Couroulu has won recognition from some of the biggest names in the wine world. Robert Parker rated it as a four-star, 'excellent' producer in his book on Rhone Valley wine. These are wines that could be stashed away for half a dozen years, but are just as ready to be had now.
