HUNAWIHR, ALSACE, FRANCE
This fabulous biodynamic producer is run by Christophe and his cousin Marc, and they are making outstanding, fine wines. They own and lease 20 hectares around Hunawihr and Ribeauville and now have two hectares of Grand Cru Rosacker, and parcels in Mandelberg and Osterberg.
Aside from the traditional single varietal wines that Alsace is well known for, Christophe Mittnacht (the winemaker) makes a wine called 'Gyotaku', made specifically for the Asian market, it is outstanding with Sushi.
