Following a family tradition of wine making nearly 500 years old, the Dopff Family enjoys a respected standing in Alsace. In 1976, Julien Dopff pioneered the push for the Crémant d'Alsace AOC. With vineyards primarily centred around Riquewihr in the southern region of Alsace, Dopff au Moulin also operates as a négociant, purchasing grapes from almost 600 growers. This allows Dopff au Moulin to produce a wide variety of wines, from their traditional Cremant to beautiful Grand Cru Riesling to a 'sur lie' Pinot Blanc.
