With several centuries of winemaking experience in his family history, Marc Dufouleur, the current vigneron, has begun to move away from the Domaine's traditional reliance on heavily-toasted oak barrels. Following the 2011 vintage, Marc regained full control as winemaker from the numerous growers that the Domaine had contracted vineyards out to in the previous century. This rejuvenation has brought a much welcomed freshness and vitality to both the Domaine and their wines. We are very much looking forward to how Marc and his cousin, Francois-Xavier, continue to evolve their range of delicious wines.
