Founded in 1824 by Martin Klipfel, the house is still in the hands of the family. Now run by sixth generation Jean-Louis Lorentz-Klipfel, they were amongst the first producers to make Late Harvest and Selection de Grains Nobles wines. They have over 40 hectares of vines.
