This company was founded in 1998 by Comendador Leonel Cameirinha, and Figueirinha is now managed by the grandson Filipe Cameirinha. Filipe brings energy and modernity to the project but both generations share the passion for the beauty and calmness of Alentejo, where tradition and culture come entwined with modern wine and olive oil creation.

The cutting edge winery was built in 2003 allowing full scale production which was always their dream. They have 40ha of red grape varieties planted and 30ha for the white varieties. The influence of both generations is clear with wines of a more traditional style and appearance and some with a modern character and eye catching labels!
