Niepoort
At long last, Niepoort hits our shelves. The doyen of the Douro, Dirk Niepoort started experimenting with wine in 1990 and production of the Redoma Tinto started a year later, a wine that I was fortunate to try in 2005 and was fantastic. Now his son Daniel is taking over the reins and that adventurous spirit is in safe hands.
