Phillipe and his son Vincent took over Domaine Collonge after the sale of Maison Paul Jaboulet Aine to the Frey family in 2006. They however managed to retain their prized vineyards which included a piece in Crozes Hermitage best known for going into the wine called Thalabert, and these vineyards form the basis of this new Domaine's wines.
