Furthermore, Vale Meão boasts continuous lineage all the way back to Dona Antonia Adelaide Ferreira, who founded the estate in 1877. Now operated by the 6th generation, Quinta do Vale Meão produces a range of wines, but their Port is strong, intense, and structured with enough fruitiness to tie it all together.
