Remi Pouizin
VISAN, RHONE VALLEY, FRANCE
The Pouizin family are famous for their domain in Visan, Domaine La Fourmente, but sadly family differences has meant that Remi has left the family company and set up on his own. He continues to manage the vineyards, with the same biodynamic preperations as he always has, but gives his father a commercial rate for the grapes.
He also sources fruit from 25 hectares, all of which are either organic or biodynamic or in conversion. Along with his wife, Geraldine, they are in the process of restoring a house and former biscuit factory into a bar and winery.
