Utilising some local ingredients in the spirits gives them a distinct difference from everything else, and his two spirits have won prestigious awards, a Gold Medal for the Pastis at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and a Gold at the International Wine & Spirits Competition for his gin.  We were the first to introduce these spirits into Scotland and we're such big fans of them!Founded by Tarquin Leadbetter, the aim of Southwestern Distillery is to make some great tasting, small batch spirits in Cornwall.  Situated near Padstow, their copper stills are fired by flame which means that Tarquin needs to watch each 300 bottle batch throughout its distillation run.
