Having made their fortune in trade and arms dealing in the eighteenth century the Gaubert family decided to expand their property and add the fashionable accessory of the time, a vineyard. Fast forward many years to the 1980’s and the house and vineyard were brought by Dominique Haverlan who conducted extensive oenological surveys and got the vineyard back on its feet.
