Abbe Rous Carignan 2018 75cl

£13.50

Tasting Note

Big, bold, semi stewed fruit with meat juices, overripe brambles and a bit of toffee. Good balance, nice structure, very sexy and easy to drink. Gorgeous balance and length with spice at the end. Lovely.

Producer

Based in Banyuls-sur-Mer, the Cave de l'Abbé Rous produces and markets a fine range of AOC Collioure and Banyuls wines. Its name was chosen in homage to the Abbot who at the end of the 19th century established himself as the first wine merchant of Banyuls to finance the construction of a church for the village. It relies on 750 winegrowers and their 1150 hectares of vines among which it makes selections to develop its vats. With a unique know-how for the breeding of Banyuls and Banyuls Grand Cru, its range is very rich. La Cave de l'Abbé Rous has chosen an exclusive distribution in the traditional network of wine merchants and restaurateurs throughout France..
