Tasting Note

The bouquet of Frascati Superiore DOCG is characterized by hints of tropical fruit, with slightly herbaceous floral nuances. The taste is sapid. Full-bodied with a soft, elegant and enveloping aftertaste.

Producer

The winery was originally an old Roman staging post and is in the hills near the town of Frascati overlooking Rome; indeed the dome of St. Peter’s is visible on a clear day. A sub-stantial estate in terms of vineyards it has been in the same family for the last two hundred years and its quality lies in the extensive use of rarer varieties and clones of grapes.
