Chateau Saint Florin Blanc 2020 75cl
Tasting Note
Lovely green focus - grassy, crisp, hints of green chillies... just a superb savoury bottle of white Bordeaux.
Producer
This vineyard is located in the small village of Soussac, at the highest point of the region on the slopes of the Butte de Launay. The current building of the chateau is in the purest 19th century regional style, having once seen pilgrims passing on their way to Compostella.
1981 saw the take over of the vineyards by Mr and Mme Jolivet, who over the years have modernised and extended the area, whilst remaining true to their fundamental principle: working their craft with the greatest care.
They share a real passion for their profession and so take personal control over all the different stages, including even the colour change of the grapes all the way through to the winemaking process.
In 1999 they joined forces with the neighbouring winegrowers to build a waste-water treatment plant and contribute to protecting the natural environment around them. They take great care of their environment and have been certified with the HVE level 3.
