Chateau Sigalas Rabaud 2004 75cl

"A lovely rich, fruity style of wine with loads of honey on the nose. The palate is so sexy, rich and yet with beautiful acidity, marmalade, sweet curry spice and really balanced."

Château Sigalas Rabaud has been in the Sigalas family since 1863 and through six generations. It is perfectly situated on a small hill overlooking Chateau d’Yquem, just 500 metres away. With just fourteen hectares, it is the smallest of all the premier cru classé Sauternes properties. Vineyard plantings consist of 85% Semillon and 15% Sauvignon.

The current generation, Laure de Lambert Compeyrot and her son, Jean Compeyrot have great drive and determination to promote these special wines to a new audience.
