Claudio Boggione Brunate Barolo 2016 75cl

Tasting Note

The 2016 Brunate is super-aromatic, hitting Nebbiolo’s typical indicators of bright cherry fruit, rose, rich earth/clay/limestone, some balsalm and minty notes; the wine develops even more complexity with air.

Located in the small but very suitable area of the municipality of Barolo, Brunate, Azienda Agricola Boggione Claudio has been passed down through the family and since 2008 the winery has been run by Claudio and Franco. The company has converted to eliminating herbicides and insecticides in the vineyard, being very careful to remain respectful of the territory, and now they are certified in The Green Experience - a Coldirettu Cuneo project.

The farmhouse with the winery is located in the Brunate hill and expanda for 2 hectares among other areas in the municipality of Barolo. The vineyards are worked on manually and with mechanical methods, keeping respect for the nature and the soil, using only those products with very low environmental impact in processes ranging from fertiliaztion to treatments, but avoiding all herbicides.
