Winemaker Dominique Morel’s reds provide indulgent ripe fruit that is far too drinkable and this Fleurie from Beaujolais is no exception. This exhibits the quintessential floral perfume of the region, from old bush vines, it shows layers of ripe fruit. Damson and morello cherry nose with rich soft berry palate the finish is inviting and lasting.

Domaine de Gry-Sablon's winemaker Dominique Morel produces wines from 12 different appellations across 18 hectares in Beaujolais. He works his vineyards sustainably and almost all work is done by hand. In the cellar he uses natural yeast and temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, seeking to preserve the pure character of his fruit. His wines are vibrant and fruit-driven, with good colour and concentration on the palate.
