A blend of 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, this has wonderful spice and cherry on the nose, with a touch of polished wood and aniseed. The palate is rich with sweeter fruit, a lovely black pepper flavour and a dry finish. Just across the river from Chateauneuf du Pape, this is excellent value for money.
