Giuliana Vicini Montepulciano d'Abruzzo 2021 75cl

Tasting Note

This wine has a purple color with purple reflections. Juicy fruit aroma with a predominance of reds such as cherry and plum. The taste is pleasantly dry with soft tannins.

Giuliana Vicini was born in 1925 to a patriarchal family, at a time when young ladies were a bit of a burden for their families, who had to marry them into good families and have a dowry. At 95 years old, Giuliana left her granddaughter, Chiara Ciavolich, her vineyards. She did it on one condition, which was that the wine produced was not called Ciavolich but Vicini - after her grandmother Donna Ernestina Vicini.
