A warm vintage resulted in lovely big powerful wines in Coonawarra, with some intense mint notes coming out of the Cabernet and then a voluptuous fruit from the Merlot. Add in some oak and then you have a delicious rich, dark old fashioned Aussie that shows the elegance and poise that the wines back in the 1990s should have had.
