Strong, very hoppy ale, a rarity in its own country, and real treat to try. Hommel is the local abbreviation of humulus, from the botanical name for the hop plant. Poperings Hommelbier is a hoppy, golden-bronze, ale. It is made from a blend of winter, summer and aromatic pale malts.

For over four centuries, Leroy Breweries in Boezinge, Flanders, has been synonymous of tradition, craftsmanship and passion, which is reflected in its range of outstanding quality beers. The breweries even survived the French Revolution and World War I. Today the tenth and eleventh generations of the Leroy Family are at the breweries’ helm.
