Tasting Note

"A stunning blend of 50/50 Pinot Noir/Chardonnay, 3g/ltr. The nose is a wonderful link to the past! It reminds me of the time I fell in love with vintage Champagne, all those years ago! Butter, shiitake mushrooms and brioche. God I love it! The palate is equally warm and rich with this yummy, moreish mid-to-late. You can't help but drink it! Proper old school EPIC!" Peter Crawford

Producer

The Brochet name bounds around the region of Champagne and beyond. But not this one. Until now. Having tasted several hundred wines during an exhausting trip to Champagne, we came across this magic producer and the wine jumped out of the glass at us. Based in the village of Ecueil in the north west of the region, they produce masterfully juicy, rich wines from their ample 13 hectare holdings. They hold both VD and HVE and you sense that honesty, thought and precision in their wines.
