"In the glass, this Nebbiolo is a ruby colour with a hint of purple. Notes of rose, raspberry and redcurrant are supported by cherry liqueur and subtle spices. On the palate, this wine shows gentle and elegant tannins, well-balanced by bright acidity."

Winemaker Franco Massolino has done a wonderful job of marrying change with a respect for tradition, something that sets him apart from most of the younger producers in Barolo today.
