Tasting Note

Deep plum coloured with a youthful purple rim. Fresh and aromatic with deep cherry fruit and some spice notes. Medium bodied with poise, freshness and elegance and ripe juicy tannins.

Producer

The Moris family left Spain two hundred years ago and settled on the edge of the marsh lands in the Tuscan Maremma. They built up two agricultural estates totalling 476 hectares. 100 hectares are planted to vines, and it was one of the first producers to recognise the quality of wines that could be produced there. They made their first DOC wine in 1981.
