Paisajes y Vinedos La Pasada Rioja 2012 75cl

Made from 65 year old Tempranillo, this wine has aromatic spices, a bit of aniseed ball and then some dark cherry and a little bit of menthol creeps through the dark rich jammier fruit.  Some savoury notes and then a lovely bright cherry comes through a dark dark chocolate and leather.  The finish has a wallop of tannin and then some dark, earthy flavours.  Very good. Only 2128 bottles made.
