Pietra has sold its wine in the past to another bottler of Brunello, but Matteo Ferretti, has persuaded his uncle, Roberto, to bottle some of their best wine under their own label. Matteo has a fantastic passion. He is humble and has soaked up all the pearls of wisdom that his grandfather has shared about the land and the wine. And in Matteo’s hands, Pietra, I’m sure, has a special future.
