The Old Breton is 100% Cabernet Franc from the Franschhoek region of South Africa. The name comes from the colloguial name in the Loire for Cabernet Franc, the red variety apparently brought to the region by the infamous Cardinal Richelieu.
Limited to 2580 bottles, it is a delicious, rich cherry wine with vegetal notes coming through. Absolutely delightful.
