Originally in a bourbon hogshead, then finished in an Oloroso cask, it has lots of mint, cinnamon and raisins on the nose. The palate has chocolate and vanilla ice cream covered in strawberry sauce!
From the first year that the Arran distillery produced whisky, this is surely going to become a wonderful collectors item, but is also a very tasty whisky. Only 172 bottles of this whisky were produced.
Rich sherry flavours with forest fruits and a delicate smoke note. This whisky takes you back to the 1930s when Speyside malts tended to have a touch of peat.
Very sweet and malty initially, with vanilla, toffee and banana influences. On the palate, peppery and creamy with defined sweet fruit flavours, ripe bananas.
Sweet, malty notes with an elegant smokiness. A fruitiness develops, pear and green apples. Cured bacon flavours linger. Smoky bonfire ash initially on the palate with a white pepper spiciness. Fruity elements develop, again pear and crisp green apples.

An awesome young whisky from one of the Islay distilleries (we aren't allowed to tell you which but it sounds like 'Owl Tiler'). Big, bold and peaty, it has a delicious medicinal note. Don't let the lack of name it...
